Tails We Win Dog Training COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

Tails We Win COVID-19 Precautions

Cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation:

  • Regular housekeeping practices using EPA listed disinfectants are being implemented, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of concrete floors, bathroom surfaces, all knobs, latches, push bars, light switches, chairs, horizontal surfaces, railings and gates.

  • Touchable surfaces in each seating area and entrance/exit areas including chairs, rails, latches, knobs, faucets, etc. will be sanitized between classes by the instructors using EPA listed disinfectants.

  • Jump bars will be routinely cleaned and adjusting them limited to instructors.  Other agility equipment, if unable to adjust with one person, will be cleaned after adjustment.

  • Classes will be scheduled to as much as possible avoid frequent adjustment of heavy equipment needing more that one person.

  • If any Tails We Win participants are symptomatic or are diagnosed with COVID-19, Tails We Win will need to close until appropriate and effective cleaning and disinfecting has been accomplished.  We are using EPA approved disinfectants including bleach solutions, Alpha-HP (souped up hydrogen peroxide), and MicroBan, and Chlorox disinfectant sprays.
